Turkey Tour to Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Boat Cruise, Fethiye, Pamukkale, Ephesus

Day 1. Welcome to Istanbul

Upon arrival to Istanbul airport our transfer man will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name, in order to transfer you to your hotel. After check-in to the room, you will be given a brief instruction and review of your Turkey tour by Road Runner Travel representative. You have rest of the day by yourself to explore the area or relax at your hotel.

Day 2. Istanbul Old City Walking Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for full day Istanbul old city tour to visit Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, The Hippodrome, Obelisk of Theodosius from Egypt, Serpentine Column from the Temple of Delphi, German Fountain, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace, after the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3. Free Day to Explore Istanbul

After breakfast, you have full day to explore bazaars or new city part of Istanbul by yourself.

Day 4. Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia / North Cappadocia Tour

Early morning you will have transfer from your hotel to airport for the flight to Cappadocia ( 60 min ). Upon arrival to Cappadocia airport our transfer man will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it, in order to transfer you to our Cappadocia office.
Today you will have full day tour of north Cappadocia to visit. Uchisar town to see the big rock on top of the hill with lots of rooms carved into cave. Urgup town to see one of the most famous rock formations that are symbolizing Cappadocia, Devrent valley, Avanos town is red clay pottery center of Turkey since Hittites. Goreme open air museum to see the most beautiful rock-cut churches with one of the best preserve frescoes (wall paintings). The tour will end approximately 16:30 p.m and you will be transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the day by yourself to explore this beautiful Goreme town.

Day 5. South Cappadocia Tour / Flight from Cappadocia to Antalya

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for full day south part of Cappadocia tour to visit Pigeon Valley, Uchisar castle, Kaymaklı ancient multi-level underground city which is 5 floor and extending to a depth of approximately 40 m. Then head off to the Red Valley, this beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock. Here we will hike for 2 hours to see the beauty of the valley with several rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. The tour will end approximately 17:00 p.m. After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel to pick up your luggage for transfer to the airport. Flight from Cappadocia to Antalya, upon arrival to Antalya airport our transfer man will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it, in order to transfer your hotel.

Day 6. Perge, Aspendos Amphitheatre and Manavgat Waterfall Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide vill pick you up for full day Perge, Aspendos and Manavgat tour. Perge is an important city of ancient Paraphilia, originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. St. Paul visited Perge on his first missionary journey. Aspendos is one of the best preserved Roman theaters in Anatolia, than we will go on to Manavgat waterfalls. End of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 7. Kokova Sunken City, Pirates Cave and Simena

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by your driver to transfer you Demre harbor ( 3 hours ) for 3 nights 4 days boat cruise. Today we will cruise to our first stop Pirates Cave to swim in to the cave with turquoise blue water. After we will sail on top of Kekova sunken city to see ancient roman ruins, swimming is forbidden you can only watch from the boat than Simene town to walk up the old Castle with beautiful Kekova bay view. You can enjoy rest of the day with optional water sport activities.

Day 8. Kalkan and Kas Area

After breakfast we will cruise to Kas harbor for lunch stop and visit this peaceful small fisherman’s town that has Lycian rock tombs and a Roman theatre, than cruise to Firnaz bay near Kalkan.

Day 9. Butterfly Valley, Oludeniz and St. Nicolas Island

We will cruise early in the morning with sunrise to Butterfly valley to see this beautiful natural reserve if it is right season you will be able to see 130 kinds of different butterflies. Next we will cruise to Oludeniz which known as The blue lagoon, here you have chance to experience paragliding in one of the best place in the world. Our last stop for today will be St. Nicolas island where you can see very well preserved Byzantine ruins and a beautiful sunset from top of the island.

Day 10. Fethiye

After our last breakfast we will cruise to Samanlık bay for swimming and lunch. Disembark in Fethiye harbor about 14:00 p.m. We will transfer you to your hotel than you have rest of the day to explore this beautiful resort town by yourself.

Day 11. Pamukkale and Hierapolis Ancient City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will pick you up for full day Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour. This beautiful naturel and historical sides are about 4 hours driving distance from your hotel but this will be a nice country side experience for you. Today we will visit Pamukkale, meaning “cotton castle” in Turkish because the travertines and terraces of carbonate minarels left by flowing hot spring water. Hierapolis ancient city has been one of the most important spa and health center since 2nd century for Jewish, early Christians and Romans. The tour will end approximately 19:00 p.m and you will be transferred to your hotel in Kusadası.

Day 12. Ephesus Tour / Flight from Izmir to Istanbul

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for full day Ephesus and surroundings tour. Today we will visit Temple of Artemis which is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Best of the day is Ephesus antique city which was established as a port city, it has been most important commercial center, once a religious center of the early Christianity and now it is one of the most important visit site in Turkey then we will go to house of Virgin Mary the belief that Virgin Mary had spent her last days around Ephesus and she died there. The tour will end approximately 16:30 p.m. and you will be transferred to Izmir airport for flight to Istanbul ( 1 Hour ). Upon arrival to Istanbul airport our transfer man will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name, in order to transfer your hotel in Istanbul.

Day 13. Free Day in Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel, today is your free day to wander around in Istanbul or finalize your last shopping.

After breakfast, check out from your room and we will arrange transfer to international airport according to your international flight or you can extend your accommodation in Istanbul and use your airport transfer according to your flight date.
