Turkey Tour Istanbul, Ephesus, Pamukkale, Konya and Cappadocia

Day 1. Arrival in Istanbul

Upon arrive in Istanbul, you will be greeted by Road Runner Travel representative and transfer to hotel. You will be briefed by your travel consultant at the hotel. Rest of the day you can relax or check out the city.
Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2. Istanbul Old City Walking Tour

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide from hotel to departure for full day old city tour.
We will visit…… Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, The Hippodrome, Obelisk of Theodosius from Egypt, Serpentine Column from the Temple of Delphi, German Fountain, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace, after  the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 3.Flight from Istanbul to Izmir/ Ephesus Tour

Early morning you will have transfer from your hotel to airport for the flight to Izmir ( 1 hour ). Upon arrival to Izmir airport our transfer man will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it, in order to transfer you to Ephesus, today we will visit Temple of Artemis which is one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Best of the day is Ephesus antique city which was established as a port city, it has been most important commercial center, once a religious center of the early Christianity and now it is one of the most important visit site in Turkey then we will go to house of Virgin Mary the belief that Virgin Mary had spent her last days around Ephesus and she died there. End of the tour you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is your free time to explore this beautiful resort town by yourself.
Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 4. Pamukkale Tour 

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by your guide to start full day Pamukkale and Hierapolis tour.
We will visit…… Gates, necropolis and theater of Hierapolis, the calcified white pools and waterfalls known as Travertines, swim among ancient ruins. End of the tour, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 5.  Konya Tour / Transfer to Cappadocia 

After breakfast check out the your room and departure for Cappadocia, on the way to Cappadocia we will visit Konya which known as the adopted home of Rumi ( Mevlana ), the Sufic mystic who found the Whirling Dervish, also Konya used to be one of the most important trading centre on the Silk Road. End of the day arrive in Goreme, check in hotel.

Day 6. South Cappadocia Tour

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide from hotel to departure for South Cappadocia tour.
We will visit…… Pigeon Valley, Uchisar castle, Kaymaklı ancient multi-level underground city which is 5 floor and extending to a depth of approximately 40 m. Then head off to the Red Valley, this beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock. Here we will hike for 2 hours to see the beauty of the valley with several rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. End of the tour, you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 7. North Cappadocia Tour / Flight from Cappadocia to Istanbul

After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel with your luggage and start our full day tour of South Cappadocia. Pigeon Valley, Kaymaklı ancient multi-level underground city which is 5 floor and extending to a depth of approximately 40 m. Then head off to the Red Valley, this beautiful valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock. Here we will hike for 2 hours to see the beauty of the valley with several rock-cut underground dwellings and churches from the Byzantine period. At the end of the tour we will transfer you to the airport for your 1 hour flight to Istanbul. Depending on your flight there may be some additional time for you to spend in Cappadocia by yourself before we transfer you to the airport. When you arrive at the Istanbul airport you will be greeted by a Roadrunner Travel represent and transferred to your hotel.

Day 8. End of Your Turkey Tour / Transfer to Airport

After breakfast, check out from your room, we will arrange transfer to international airport for your flight.
