Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Istanbul to Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour (L)

Your 4-day Turkey tour starts with an early morning hotel transfer in Istanbul to the airport for your domestic flight to Cappadocia. Upon landing at the airport, our friendly representative will meet you at the terminal exit and transfer you to our office. From here, we begin your full-day North Cappadocia guided tour.

Key Highlights of the Day:

• Goreme Panorama: Start your trip with breathtaking views over the iconic fairy chimneys.
• Uchisar Castle: Visit the highest point in Cappadocia, a historic Byzantine-era rock citadel.
• Pasabag (Monks Valley) & Devrent Valley: Explore surreal mushroom-shaped rock formations and unique landscape sculptures.
• Goreme Open Air Museum: Discover UNESCO-listed rock-cut churches and well-preserved Byzantine frescoes.
• Avanos & Urgup: Drive along the Kizilirmak (Red River) to visit Avanos, where you can try your hand at traditional red clay pottery shaping at a local artisan workshop.

After the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure to explore Goreme on your own.

Day 2: South Cappadocia Tour & Night Bus to Pamukkale (B, L)

• Highly Recommended: Start your morning with an unforgettable Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon ride over the valleys at sunrise.
  After breakfast at your hotel, complete your check-out. Our guide will pick you up to begin the South Cappadocia tour.

Key Highlights of the Day:

• Ortahisar Castle: View the giant natural rock fortress and historic stone houses.
• Love Valley: Stop for scenic landscape views and photos.
• Red Valley & Rose Valley Hike: Take a breathtaking guided hike through pink-hued rock formations and valley trails.
• Cavusin Village: Visit one of the oldest ancient rock-cut settlements in the region.

Underground City: Descend into the multi-level tunnels and chambers of an ancient underground refuge.

At the end of the tour, we transfer you to the Goreme local bus terminal. You will have free time for dinner before boarding the comfortable 10-hour intercity night bus to Pamukkale (the only long bus ride of your Turkey highlights itinerary).

Day 3: Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour to Kusadasi (B, L)

Arrive in Pamukkale early in the morning. Our local representative will meet you at the station and transfer you to our day-use hotel, where you can rest and refresh before the tour begins.

On today’s Pamukkale travertines day trip, we will explore:

• Hierapolis Ancient City: Walk through ancient Roman theater ruins, thermal baths, and the extensive Necropolis.
• White Travertine Terraces: Marvel at the famous snow-white calcium travertine terraces overlooking the valley.
• Cleopatra’s Antique Pool: Enjoy free time to swim in warm, mineral-rich thermal hot springs surrounded by ancient Roman columns.

Following the tour, take a scenic 2.5-hour drive to the coastal resort town of Kusadasi and check into your hotel.

Day 4: Ephesus Guided Tour & Flight Back to Istanbul (B, L) 4-day Turkey tour

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Your guide will pick you up for a full-day Ephesus guided tour.

• Temple of Artemis: Visit the site of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
• Ephesus Ancient City: Walk along well-preserved marble streets to view the Celsus Library, Great Theatre, and Hadrians Temple.
